Elderly Care
When faced with illness or immobility, it can be a struggle to carry out everyday activities that you may have once performed with ease. Our discreet elderly care service in the UAE is designed to support you with your day to day living, as well as providing you with the encouragement and emotional support that you may need to remain living independently. Our service can support you with getting in and out of your bed, dressing, administering medication, bathing and continence care, at a time to suit your convenience. Maintaining your dignity is of paramount importance to us, which is why our carers will ensure you feel comfortable at all times.
One of the most important aspects for professionals who are caring for elderly people is to understand all types of care available and to implement the adequate care while the patient remains in the comfort of their own home. For each type of care we are providing skilled and experienced nurses to assist the patient on 24/7 basis or 12/7 as required. It is known that being treated in the comfort of your own home can help the healing process much quicker than being in a hospital setting. Qualified GP doctors support all of our nurses who are trained in a wide variety of HHC treatments for all types of Elderly Home Nursing Services.
Types of Elderly Home Care Services
Custodial Care For Seniors
Most long-term care is Custodial Care which encompasses a variety of services that help people with health, personal needs, and activities of daily living over a long period of time. This care can be provided at home by assigning skilled HHC nursing service, adult day to day care for elderly individuals or for patients with a chronic or disabling condition that needs constant supervision. The majority of the time this form of care is provided in the familiar surroundings of the patient’s home, and includes assistance with daily activities such as walking, bathing, feeding, dressing and other exercises.
Skilled care
Skilled nursing care is a type of intermediate care in which the patient needs more assistance than usual, from licensed nursing personnel and certified Physiotherapists. Reasons may include long-term IV therapy, IV line access and care, chemotherapy, dialysis, physical therapy, long-term wound care rehabilitation, respiratory treatments, nutritional therapy with feeding tubes, and continuous positive motion machines to exercise limbs in which prosthetic joints have been inserted. Long or short term, skilled care is generally for those suffering from serious or persistent health issues, and can be provided at the elderly person’s home, by qualified nurses, physical therapists and general physicians.
Alzheimer’s / Dementia Care
Dementia Care is a very specialised form of care which can be provided at a patients home by skilled and well trained Nursing staff who can attend to the specific needs of this type of patient. We are committed to improve the quality of life for persons living with dementia. To better respond to their needs by focusing on fundamental areas in quality dementia care: assessment, communication and understanding behavior, social needs and activities, proper nutrition, reducing pain, falls, wandering, restraint-free care etc.
